Around 57% of the companies surveyed are covering the costs associated with employee training (compared to just 46% in 2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This support for training can be done in a variety of ways: setting a budget for participation in conferences, training, courses or postgraduate courses, etc.; access to e-learning platforms; enrolment in language schools; holding regular in-house training sessions: among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Health plans<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercer.pt\/newsroom\/estudo-total-compensation-2022.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mercer study<\/a> indicates that 90% of companies offer a health plan, and in 70% of cases this is extended to the employee&#8217;s spouse and children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This trend will prevail in 2023, as this is a <a href=\"https:\/\/edenred.pt\/en\/news\/human-resources\/5-benefits-that-all-companies-should-give-their-employees\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">widely valued benefit<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Flexible benefits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2023 will also be the year when companies continue to become aware that people with <strong>different lifestyles<\/strong> and at<strong> different stages of life<\/strong> have different needs.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/edenred.pt\/en\/news\/employee-benefits\/flexible-benefits-adapt-to-your-employees-needs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Flexible benefits<\/a> are gaining relevance in the organizational universe to respond to this diversity of employee interests and expectations.
