Best Lunch 2025: Discover the best restaurant for lunch in Portugal

After several weeks of voting and a huge mobilization across the country, the voting for Best Lunch 2025 – The Best Restaurant for Lunch has come to an end.
It’s time to reveal the highlights of the first edition of this initiative, which celebrated the restaurants that are part of our daily lives and that make lunch breaks tastier.
Best Lunch 2025 in numbers
The balance of this first year in Portugal couldn’t be more positive. Best Lunch 2025 tasted like a success and included:
- 22,000 votes registered across the country;
- +5000 different restaurants were selected by the voting public.
There was a strong turnout, both from those who voted and from the restaurants themselves, who mobilized to involve their customers. It was a real celebration of the restaurant industry in our country.
The big winner is…
The establishment most voted for by the Portuguese was Restaurante “O Passarinho“, in Moita dos Ferreiros, which won the title of Best Lunch 2025 – The Best Restaurant for Lunch.
This restaurant has not only won over the taste buds of its customers, but also their hearts. As a reward, you will receive:
The trophy for Best Lunch 2025 – The Best Restaurant for Lunch;
- 1500 for purchases at Recheio*;
- 1500 for the purchase of fuel and other energy Repsol*;
- 100 in Edenred Gift digital gift cards for each employee (up to a limit of 10);
- It will also be featured in an article in NiT.
The 10 most voted restaurants
In addition to the winner, these were the restaurants with the most votes – true ambassadors for good food and a good lunch experience:

- Yohoshiro Lisboa- Korean Hot Dog&Wagashi, Lisbon
- Marco Restaurant, Corroios
- Vela Porto – Yotel Restaurant, Porto
- DUOO Gastro Theatre, Portimão
- O Santos, Santa Iria de Azoia
- Honest Greens, Parque das Nações
- Hilarious Burger, Porto
- Restaurant Estaladiço, Valadares
- Prima Caju, Funchal
These restaurants will be rewarded with a €100 voucher for shopping at Recheio* and a €100 voucher for Repsol fuel and energy.
