Best Lunch 2026 is back and once again celebrates what makes the lunch break so special: good food, personalized service, and the moments that help us recharge our energy during the workday.

In 2025, the title was awarded to the restaurant O Passarinho. Now, the time has come to discover who will be Best Lunch 2026 – The Best Restaurant for Lunch.

What is Best Lunch 2026?

Best Lunch 2026 is Edenred’s initiative that recognizes the Portuguese people’s favorite restaurants for lunch. More than just a vote, it’s a way to acknowledge the establishments that are part of so many people’s work routine – places where you find flavor, a break, socializing, and well-being.

This mission is aligned with Edenred’s vision about the importance of the lunch hour: an essential moment to promote more balance, more joy in the workday and, consequently, more well-being and productivity. Celebrating local restaurants is also about supporting the restaurant sector and strengthening the connection between workers and local businesses, a dimension that Edenred values in its solutions and in the promotion of its partner establishment networks.

How to participate?

Voting for Best Lunch 2026 takes place online between September 7 and October 5, 2026.

Anyone can vote and all restaurants are eligible: they just need to have their business listed on Google Business Profile.

There will be prizes for both the distinguished restaurants and for those who participate in the voting. Full details about the prizes will be announced soon, along with the official contest rules.
